The Doctors Napier is registered with NZ Immigration to be able to provide NZ Immigration Medicals. We are able to provide Full & Limited medicals, including on-site Xray's and referrals to the laboratory for lab testing which is located just down the road.

Midwife Judy Stark operates from the 1st floor at The Doctors Napier. Judy has over 25 years experience as a midwife. Judy supports home births, hospital births and deliveries at the birthing unit.

The Doctors Napier has a minor operation room available for our GP’s to carry out minor procedures.
An appointment for minor surgery requires an initial appointment with your doctor to discuss the surgery. You will be advised of the cost of your surgery at this initial appointment.

Our clinicians can offer you the option of a phone consultation, or video consultation. Currently due to Covid-19 the majority of our consultations are phone consultations. As we come out of the different lock down levels, we will still offer this option, as often this is a more convenient way of consulting with their GP.

SEAFARERS
MEDICALS
Dr Stefan Freudenberg at The Doctors Napier is approved by Maritime New Zealand as a qualified doctor for the purpose of carrying out medical examinations of seafarers for certificates of medical fitness. Dr Freudenberg is the only approved examiner in Hawkes Bay.

Dr Justin Pratt is our resident skin cancer doctor. His area of special interest is skin cancer diagnosis and surgery.
